Grand River offers state-of-the-art operating rooms and surgical services, a comfortable atmosphere, and a friendly, knowledgeable staff. Our surgical services team works hard to make sure you and your family have everything you need. When you come into Grand River, you know your needs will be met, and it’s one less thing you have to worry about.

The Perioperative Services Department at Grand River Medical Center provides comprehensive surgical care for patients requiring outpatient as well as inpatient surgical procedures. The department is available Monday thru Friday 7am-5pm and on call after hours and on weekends for emergency cases. We provide surgical care for:

• General and Laparoscopic Surgery:
• Endoscopic Procedures: colonoscopy, gastroscopy, PEG Tube Placement, Esophyx procedure for hiatal hernia repairs
• Gynecology: Lap Assisted Vaginal Hysterectomy, Total and Vaginal Hysterectomy, wide variety of laparoscopic procedures and general gyn procedures
• Orthopedic: Total Joint Replacement, ACL Reconstruction, routine shoulder and knee procedures, fracture care
• Podiatry: Bunions, hammertoe, endoscopic plantar fasciotomy
• Neurosurgery: neck and back, carpal tunnel, ulnar nerve transposition
• Plastic and reconstructive: Breast reconstruction, augmentation, face lift, abdominoplasty
• Urology:
• Ophthalmology: Cataract and Yag laser
• Dental Restoration.
