Grand River Hospital District is a local healthcare system designed around the needs of the communities we serve. Our facilities include:
• Grand River Hospital and Medical Center in Rifle, Colorado
• Grand River Clinics in Rifle and Battlement Mesa, Colorado
• The E. Dene Moore Long Term Care Center in Rifle
• Grand River Health and Safety Center (our occupational medicine facility) in Battlement Mesa
We don’t think you should have to travel long distances to receive exceptional healthcare. Our goal is to offer you personal, friendly, professional care right here at home. We are continually looking for new and better ways to meet your healthcare needs.
Recently, Grand River Hospital and Medical Center in Rifle underwent a large expansion. This new space allowed room for our Family Health, Internal Medicine, and Women’s Health clinic to grow. We now have more exam and procedure rooms in a comfortable environment. Always planning ahead, there is also space for more providers when we choose to bring them in.
The Southwest Addition is also home to our Physical Therapy Department. The equipment, staff, and activities here offer patients a rehabilitative environment that rivals the largest of health systems. The Physical Therapy department boasts one of the few aquatic therapy pools in the area. The pool sees dramatic results that are achieved comfortably. Also new in Physical Therapy is the Activities of Daily Living Unit. This is an apartment-like setting complete with a full kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and washer/dryer. Our therapists work with patients who have had neurological or other debilitating damage, teaching them how to do every day things again, like laundry and getting out in and out of the shower. We are proud to help empower our patients to be independent.
Our other services, such as radiology, emergency care, laboratory, and surgery are thriving as well. We are constantly improving upon and adding to our services, so check with us often to see all we can offer to you and your family.
